Request a Re-Image

When your department purchases a new device or provides an older machine for a new user, it is important that the machine be re-imaged to prevent unauthorized access and ensure appropriate software updates are applied. If you've just received a new device, you can schedule a re-image by doing the following:
 
1.Open a web browser to https://its.jmu.edu/ 
2.Click Log in
3.Sign in with your eID and password
4.Click Request Help
5.Click Software, Computers, and Devices
6.Click Software
7.Click Request a Re-image
8.Fill out the required fields, including the ESN of the device
9.Click Submit
 
Once your ticket is created and assigned to the appropriate team, you will be contacted to arrange a time and place to set up the device. It is recommended that you submit one ticket per device.
