James Madison Information Technology Department recommends the following antivirus/anti-malware software for personally-owned computers:

  • Avast (for Windows and Mac)
  • AVG (for Windows and Mac)
  • Sophos (for Windows and Mac)
  • Microsoft Windows Defender (for Windows)
