James Madison Information Technology Department recommends the following antivirus/anti-malware software for personally-owned computers:
- Avast (for Windows and Mac)
- AVG (for Windows and Mac)
- Sophos (for Windows and Mac)
- Microsoft Windows Defender (for Windows)
