Troubleshooting/Resolution

To access library resources from off-campus:

  1. Go to the the JMU Libraries website 
  2. Find and click on the resource you wish to visit
  3. Login to the JMU page with your eID and password
  4. Access your resource
  5. Once logged in, you will remain connected for 1 day or until you close the browser.
Additional Information or Notes

Note: while most library resources can be accessed through a vendor service, OpenAthens, not all providers and publishers are set up for OpenAthens. If you are unable to access a particular resource, you will need to use JMU's VPN Client, which additional information can be found here: Specialized Resource Access
