Remote Access to Library Resources
Troubleshooting/Resolution
To access library resources from off-campus:
- Go to the the JMU Libraries website
- Find and click on the resource you wish to visit
- Login to the JMU page with your eID and password
- Access your resource
- Once logged in, you will remain connected for 1 day or until you close the browser.
Note: while most library resources can be accessed through a vendor service, OpenAthens, not all providers and publishers are set up for OpenAthens. If you are unable to access a particular resource, you will need to use JMU's VPN Client, which additional information can be found here: Specialized Resource Access
