Secure File Transfer (Serv-U)

Overview

JMU utilizes ServU as its Secure File Transfer service. ServU allows for safe, encrypted, file transfer via SFTP to external entities. This service is best suited for departments who regularly have to send files larger than the email sending limits, or files which contain data that need additional protections.

Who can use this Service?

JMU Faculty & Staff can request this service. This service is not available for Students or Affiliates.

How can I get this Service?

Request New Site

Note: The process of setting up a new site involves multiple departments and can take several days. Please allow for this time when requesting.
