How to turn off biometrics in Okta Verify App

To turn off biometrics in the Okta Verify App:

  1. Open Okta verify app on your Mobile Device
  2. Click on the account for mylogin.jmu.edu
  3. Under Security, toggle the tab left under Screen lock confirmation
  4. Select Yes, Turn Off
  5. On iPhone you will need to use Face ID, or your phone unlock Pin to turn off this function. On Android you may need to use your unlock Password/PIN/Pattern, or your Biometric method (Fingerprint, camera, etc.) used to sign into phone to turn off.
