This article is to explain where to check if your account has transferred from an applicant to a student account.
Environment
MyMadison, mylogin.jmu.edu
Troubleshooting/Resolution
In MyMadison (mymadison.jmu.edu), if you see the Student tab on the left side of the screen, your account has been activated as a student. If you only see an Applicant tab, your account has not yet been transitioned.
Additional Information or Notes
Paying your admissions deposit moves your account from applicant status to student status. It may take up to 48 hours for your payment to be processed before your account is transitioned automatically. Once complete, the next time you log into mylogin.jmu.edu, you will be prompted to set up MFA, if you have not done so already.
