Many browser issues can be solved by following the steps below. If issues persist after trying these solutions please call the IT Help Desk.

Troubleshooting/Resolution
To resolve common browser issues:
- Clear Browser Cache, then try accessing the information again.

Turn Off Pop-Up Blocking

Safari (Mac and Mobile)
Google Chrome
Microsoft Edge
- Check Time/Date settings (When you are at JMU, the time zone should be set to (UTC-05:00) Eastern Time).
- Windows 11
- Click Start (Windows logo button).
- Click Settings (gear-shaped icon).
- Click Time & Language.
- Click Date & Time and select the time zone that corresponds to your current geographical location.
- Mac (macOS 14 and newer)
- Click the Apple icon at the top-left of your device’s screen, and select System Settings.
- Click General.
- Choose Date & Time.
- Turn on the switch next to Set date and time automatically.
- Click the Time Zone button.
- Turn on the switch next to Set time zone automatically using current location.
