This process ensures that privileged access is provisioned securely, consistently, and in alignment with institutional policies. Requests follow a formal review and approval workflow to mitigate risk and maintain oversight of high‑impact account capabilities. This service supports activities such as server administration, utility account management, and specialized system access.

How can I get this Service?

Any JMU staff member who requires access to a priviledged account can submit an access request ticket. After the review and approval process is completed you will be granted access to the account and informed on the next steps such as the password change procedure.
