General Software Assistance

Overview

Software available for use by JMU employees and students is typically available on JMU-owned computers through Endpoint Management and also in Computing Labs. Certain academic and remote-access software titles have been made available for use on personally-owned devices via the download links below.

Any JMU department, organization, or individual seeking to acquire technology systems or services is required to complete a Technology Solution Request (TSR) within the IT Service Portal. Additionally, a list of pre-approved software for faculty and staff can be found within our Knowledge Base or to the side of this page.

Note: Looking for software available from your college? Software for CISE is available at https://support.cise.jmu.edu/. CISE software is supported by CISE rather than by Information Technology.
