Report a Lost or Stolen device

Overview

If a device is lost or stolen that contains JMU related information, it immediately becomes a security risk. This is especially true for JMU-Owned devices. If a device is lost or stolen please report it as soon as you realise it so that our Security team can take the necessary precautions such as locking the device manually or making an attempt to trace where the device may be located.

How can I get this Service?

If you believe a device may be lost or stolen, please submit a ticket using the "Report Lost/Stolen Device" button to the right of this screen or reach out to the IT Help Desk at 540-568-3555 so the problem can be immediately reported to our Security team.
