When you arrive at the password change screen, Please keep in mind that your new password requires the following:

  • 1 uppercase
  • 1 lowercase
  • 1 number
  • 1 special character
  • A 16 character minimum
  • Cannot be the last 24 password you have used
  • Cannot be similar to your previous password

Be sure to update your password on all mobile devices, password managers, or auto-fill profiles

Additional Information or Notes

Forgetting the WiFi network and logging back into JMU-Official-Wireless on any mobile devices, tablets, or personal computers will help you from getting locked out due to your password changing (Note: The network will automatically lock with multiple bad passwords. Failing to remove and re-add the network on mobile devices will cause them to attempt to connect with your old password repeatedly)
