This article identifies the steps to take to change your password as an applicant.

Troubleshooting/Resolution
Prior to changing your password, first verify that the computer's date and time-zone settings are current and clear your web browsing history and cache.
- Open a web browser to https://mymadison.jmu.edu
- Click Forgot your Password? Enter the JMU eID (not your nine-digit student ID number or four-digit JMU Pin).
- Provide the 4-digit JMU Pin you supplied on your JMU application
- Review Security Awareness, if prompted
- Change Password
- Open a new window or tab to log in to MyMadison
