Troubleshooting/Resolution

Prior to changing your password, first verify that the computer's date and time-zone settings are current and clear your web browsing history and cache

  1. Open a web browser to https://mymadison.jmu.edu
  2. Click Forgot your Password? Enter the JMU eID (not your nine-digit student ID number or four-digit JMU Pin).
  3. Provide the 4-digit JMU Pin you supplied on your JMU application
  4. Review Security Awareness, if prompted
  5. Change Password 
  6. Open a new window or tab to log in to MyMadison
