Run Windows update troubleshooter in Windows 10:
- Select Start > Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot > Additional troubleshooters.
- Under Get up and running, select Windows Update > Run the troubleshooter.
- When the troubleshooter is finished running, it's a good idea to restart your device.
- Next, check for new updates in Software Center. Try running updates that are stalled one at a time.
Inside Windows 11, troubleshooters have been removed. It is advised to restart the computer and allow the updates to attempt installation again through Software Center.
