Overview
Learn how to request access to educ.jmu.edu student accounts for marketing cloud use. Student educ accounts should be requested by a professor. Educ.jmu.edu is shared by faculty, students, and staff, for the purpose of personal web pages in their educ.jmu.edu/~userid/ URL, as well as a basic Unix/Linux command primer for general classroom use. Educ.jmu.edu is not to be used as a video/audio/application repository, or for business web hosting.

Troubleshooting/Resolution
Here are instructions for setting up the account: Prior to logging in, ensure that your account(s) has requested and created
- Download an SFTP clients or one requested by your professor.
- Once installed, open your selected client.
- Enter the hostname as educ.jmu.edu.
- Put the SecureFTP Port number as 22.
- The User name and Password will be your JMU eID and password.
- Ensure that the File Protocol is set to SFTP.
- Click Connect.
