Employees/Affiliates:
- JMU faculty and staff have 1TB and Affiliates have 100GB of JMU Microsoft OneDrive for Business storage while actively employed or affiliated (has an Affiliate status) with JMU.
- All JMU faculty, staff, and affiliates lose access to OneDrive after the end of their contract with the University
- To access your JMU OneDrive:
- Open a web browser and log in to Microsoft Office using your full JMU email address (eID@jmu.edu).
- Click the App Launcher (grid in the upper left) and choose OneDrive
- You can view your remaining storage at the bottom of the left column
- To have a detailed view of your OneDrive Storage:
- Click on Settings (gear icon) in top right corner of screen
- Click OneDrive Settings
- Click More Settings on the left column
- Click on Storage Metrics under the Features and Storage heading
- The list on the Storage Metrics page will show how much space each folder or file is using; the upper right corner shows how much total space is currently used
Students:
- JMU students have 100GB of JMU Microsoft OneDrive storage while they are actively enrolled students at JMU.
- Students lose access to the JMU OneDrive upon departure or graduation.
- Copy or save any OneDrive files that you wish to retain to your personal storage space of choice prior to leaving or graduating from JMU.
- To access your JMU OneDrive:
- Open a web browser and log in to Microsoft Office using your full JMU email address (eID@dukes.jmu.edu)
- Click the App Launcher (grid in the upper left) and choose OneDrive
- You can view your remaining storage at the bottom of the left column
