Connecting Salesforce To Outlook

Due to the implementation of Okta, the process for logging into the Salesforce addon through Outlook has changed slightly.

Users attempting to use the Salesforce addon will be presented with a sidebar on the left side prompting them to log in. Click the blue “log in” button as shown below.

This will redirect you to a different sign in page. On this page, select the “Use Custom Domain” button as shown below.

When the blank text box shows up please enter “jamesmadisonuniversity1” and hit continue.

You now be brought to the Okta sign in screen. Just simply enter your eID and proceed through with Okta authentication

After you authenticate it will redirect to a screen with a cancel button and a confirm button. Select the blue confirm button.

This will redirect back to your inbox where the Salesforce addon should be signed into successfully.
