Learn how to locate a lost email message by accessing the archives folder in Outlook.

Troubleshooting/Resolution
- Open Outlook
- Select the Search bar and Change " All Folders" to "Archive"
- Use the search function to search for sender, subject, or keyword
- Search for Lost Email
- If you can not locate the email, log in to the Outlook Web App outlook.office.com (faculty/staff) or dukes.jmu.edu (student)
- Follow steps 2 & 3 to check for an Archive folder and the email
- If you are unable to locate the email, it is potentially permanently deleted
