Finding Lost Email in Archives Folder

  1. Open Outlook
  2. Under the email account folder section, select Archive 
  3. Use the search function to search for sender, subject, or keyword
  4. If no Archive folder is present, log in to the Outlook Web App (faculty/staff) or Dukes Email (student)
  5. Follow steps 2 & 3 to check for an Archive folder and the email
  6. If no Archive folder is present and if email is not located in the folder or deleted items, the email is potentially permanently deleted
