JMU Desktop is Not Connecting to Personal Wifi

Most JMU-owned desktop computers do not have a wireless card.  To see if your computer has a wireless network card complete the following steps

  1. Click the search bar in the lower left hand corner of the screen
  2. Search "device manager"
  3. Click the drop down arrow next to "Network adapters"
    1. If there is nothing with "wireless" in the name you will not be able to connect to wifi
    2. You can connect an ethernet cable into your router
