If the device in question receives the "are you signing in" page while the Okta Verify app is open, but is not receiving notifications of any kind, follow the steps below.
- Verify the device is up to date with iOS updates.
- Delete the Okta Verify app from the iPhone and then reinstall it from the Apple App Store
- Open the Okta Verify App, and select Get Started
- Select Next
- Select Add Account
- Select Organization
- Select Skip
- Select No, Sign in Instead
- Enter the Organization's Sign-in URL: "jmu" and select Next
- An Okta sign-in page should appear. Put in your JMU eID and Password
- Once reconnected, confirm that you wish to receive Push Notifications and it is encouraged that you do not select Face ID or Passcode Confirmation.
- When completed, test signing in to mylogin.jmu.edu
