Troubleshooting/Resolution
mylogin.jmu.edu is an integrated dashboard for students, faculty, and staff, providing access to numerous JMU online resources and services. Examples include Microsoft Outlook, Canvas, MyMadison, and other JMU applications. This allows users to navigate to multiple sites while minimizing the number of times they are prompted to sign in.
When visiting the site, you are prompted to enter your JMU eID and password. Depending on your role at JMU, you may also be prompted to verify your identity with Okta Verfy or a security key, like a Yubikey. After successfully logging in, you will be brought to your dashboard, where you will see system notifications and an area called "My Apps." The site also allows you to change your eID password and/or update your verification methods (like adding a new phone).
