Overview
The Learning Innovations & Design Desk (LID Desk) is JMU’s central hub for educational technology, instructional design, and classroom technology support. It provides walk‑in and online help for Canvas, media production, 3D printing, makerspace tools, classroom equipment, and digital teaching strategies. Faculty, staff, and students can also schedule consultations for advanced instructional design or technology‑enhanced teaching support. The desk connects users with experts across instructional design, educational technologies, makerspace resources, and media production.
