Canvas Studio
An interactive video platform within Canvas for creating, hosting, and engaging with instructional media. Supports in‑video discussions, analytics, and Zoom recording imports.
Canvas Support
Assistance with using Canvas for teaching and learning, including setup, troubleshooting, and course management. Support available online and at the LID Desk.
Learning Innovations and Design Desk
A one‑stop support center for educational technology, Canvas, instructional design, classroom tools, and media services. Available online and in Rose Library.
LON-CAPA
An online course and homework system for managing assignments, assessments, and individualized learning activities. Supports JMU eID login and course‑specific content delivery.
Respondus Lockdown Browser
A secure browser that locks down the testing environment in Canvas, preventing access to other applications or web resources during exams.
Respondus Monitor
An AI‑based remote proctoring tool that works with LockDown Browser to record and monitor students during online exams.
