How to Request Access to AiM

Summary

A work supervisor needs to put in a request for this access. They need to put in that request after the employee in question has completed the necessary training for said system. If the employee has already completed the training and the access request has been submitted yet they are unable to access the system, finding those completion/submission dates will be important to figuring out where the problem is.

Environment

AiM, AiM Training, IT Service Portal

Troubleshooting/Resolution

In order to be granted access to the AiM system, an employee must:

  1. Complete the necessary training courses:
    • IT523 AiM Work Orders and/or IT524 AiM Motor Pool (depending on what your need may be as delegated by your job description or supervisor)
  2. Once training is completed, access will be granted by FM-IT once they have confirmed that training has been finalized and the employee's supervisor has requested access through the IT Service Portal

Additional instructions on how to enroll in the training courses and for submitting the access request can be found here
