Overview
Learn how to access the N: Drive from off campus on a JMU owned device that has not been set up by Desktop Services.

Applies to JMU owned devices.
Troubleshooting/Resolution
To request file storage (N: drive) access from off-campus on a JMU-owned Mac or JMU-owned computer not setup by Desktop Services (DTS) can be done by completing the following:
- Click the Request Remote Access button to the right of this page.
- Complete the request, stating what specific areas of the N:/ Drive you will need access to and for what specific reason
These requests can take a couple of days, and will include an email approval going to both the supervisor as well as the requestor.
Additional Information or Notes
Personal N: Drives are no longer available, only departmental N: Drives are available to access.
Note: A request is not required for use on JMU-Owned PC's as they are pre-set for off-campus access
