To requst file storage (N: drive) access from off-campus on a JMU-owned Mac or JMU-owned computer not setup by Desktop Services (DTS) can be done by completing the following:
- Log in to the IT Service Portal
- Click on Request Help
- Select
- Accounts and Access
- Remote Access
- Request Access
- Complete the request, stating what specific areas of the N:/ Drive you will need access to and for what specific reason
These requests can take a couple of days, and will include an email approval going to both the supervisor as well as the requestor.
Note: A request is not required for use on JMU-Owned PC's as they are pre-set for off-campus access
