How to Reset my JMU eID Password as an Applicant

This article identifies the steps to take to change your password as an applicant.

Troubleshooting/Resolution

Prior to changing your password, first verify that the computer's date and time-zone settings are current and clear your web browsing history and cache

  1. Open a web browser to mylogin.jmu.edu 
  2. Enter your eID and hit Next
  3. On the Password Screen. Click Forgot your Password? 
  4. You will have an email sent to the email address used to register for JMU
  5. Follow the instructions on screen and you will be brought to a password change screen.
