How to Finalize an Approval for Access

When you are attempting to Approve an IT Service ticket, Windows needs to be aware of what email client you are attempting to use (as the Approval is sent through an email). If a white screen appears, this is due to your device not having a default email client set and it attempts to open the email in a browser. To correct for this:
 

  1. Navigate to the Windows icon in bottom left of your screen
  2. Select Settings
  3. At the top of the settings window, Type in Default App and select the option that populates
  4. Click on Email at the top
  5. Select Outlook as your default
  6. Close Outlook if it was open
  7. Re-attempt to send the Approval

Note: Remember that the email is meant to be sent without any changes to the email Subject or Body, as this can cause the Approval to send incorrectly.
