How do I install IBM Analyst Notebook?

Download

1. Go to https://support.cise.jmu.edu/installs/IBM and log in using your JMU eID and password
2. Use the link for I2_ANALYSTS_NOTEBOOK_PREM_V9.3.0.zip

Prerequisites

1. IBM i2 Analyst Notebook requires the Microsoft .Net Framework 3.5. If the .Net Framework is not installed, or if you do not know if it is installed, please follow these instructions from Microsoft: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dotnet/framework/install/dotnet-35-windows-10#enable-the-net-framework-35-in-control-panel

Install

1. Extract the Zip file and run Setup
2. Choose Custom install options and remove the Opal Connector
3. You may add Esri Maps and Analyst Schema Designer if you like
4. Once the install completes, you will find added to the Start menu
