Learn how to submit a request to update your personal email in MyMadison.

Troubleshooting/Resolution

Once you become a student and your Dukes email account is active, all major correspondence from the University will be then sent to that email account. However, if there is a need to adjust your personal email account on file (due to no longer having access, an incorrect spelling, or other similar situation), you can email applicationprocessing@jmu.edu with an alternative email. The email within MyMadison should then be adjusted within 24-48 hours.
