Minitab Installation & Licensing

Installing Minitab:

1. Follow the instructions to download and install Minitab from the Computing software service page under Available Software (Faculty/Staff) or Available Software (Students), which requires authenticating with your JMU eID and password. Note:  If using a Mac, do not use the Safari browser as it creates an error or saves the Minitab license file in an incorrect format.
2. If the application states that the "license has expired," please notify the IT Help Desk at helpdesk@jmu.edu and they will notify the appropriate area.
3. Minitab is also available in the Burruss 355 departmental math PC lab.
