Shared Mailbox Sent Folder

In Outlook

  1. Click File
  2. Click Account Settings
  3. Click Account Settings again
  4. Double-click your personal email account (you don’t need to find the Shared Mailbox at this point) under Name to open
  5. Click the More Settings... button
  6. Click the Advanced tab
  7. Under Open these additional mailboxes, click to select the shared mailbox name
  8. Click the Remove button
  9. Click Apply 
  10. Click OK to go back to the Change Account box and click Next and Finish
  11. Close the Account Settings window
  12. Then click File again, and click New Account to add the shared mailbox as a separate mailbox
  13. Enter the name of the shared mailbox account
  14. Enter your email password associated with your personal email account
  15. Click OK
  16. Close Outlook and re-open.  The Shared Mailbox should appear in the left navigation pane.
