Preventing Uninvited Guests and Unwanted Interruptions in Zoom

How to secure your Zoom meetings:

PRE-MEETING Settings:

• Use a Waiting Room and only admit known people
• Do not use Personal Meeting ID for Public Meetings
• Require a passcode to join your meeting https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/360033559832-Meeting-and-Webinar-Passwords  
• Only allow Registered or domain users https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/211579443-Registration-for-Meetings?zcid=1231

IN-MEETING Settings:

• Once all attendees have arrived lock the meeting
• Enable Waiting room after meeting start if you forgot to - then kick to waiting room any troublesome users
• Control Screen sharing for host only. 
• Disable Private Chat
• Turn off annotation
• Mute participants (especially useful is the Mute All button)
• Remove participants
