Emeriti Must Continue to Update their JMU eID Password

Emeriti faculty and staff, in order to continue to have access to your JMU email account:

  1. You will need to keep your JMU eID active by changing your password every 90 days.
  2. Should your password expire and not be active after twelve (12) months, your email account will be disabled and removed.
    1. This does not revoke or remove your Emeriti status, but rather removes your services (email access, UREC access, Library access, etc.)
  3. This change is necessary to ensure that your email is secure and to ensure security of the email system for all.
