How do I know whether my PeopleSoft Access request was submitted

You should be able to follow the status of a PeopleSoft (HR,SA, FIN) access request in the IT Service Portal:

  1. Open a web browser and log in to its.jmu.edu with your eID and password
  2. Under My Open Tickets, click on My Records
    • My Records displays all open tickets, tickets waiting approvals and all software changes. Ensure that you have none of your Open tickets are in a Draft state as this means the ticket was not submitted.  
    • To submit a Draft ticket:  click to open the ticket, ensure all questions/fields are complete, click Submit.
