Overview
Learn how to update your eID password in Okta.

Troubleshooting/Resolution
	- In a web browser, go to mylogin.jmu.edu
 
	- Sign in using your JMU eID and password, and verify using your preferred Okta method.
 
	-  Click the MyLogin dropdown under your name at the top-right of the page.
 
	-  Click My Settings.
 
	- Click Manage Security Methods
 
	- Next to Password, click Update.
 
	-  Click Yes.
 
	- You will be prompted to verify your identity with your preferred verification method.
 
	-  You will then have to verify your identity with a secondary method to continue.
 
	-  Enter your new password and confirm it by re-entering the password again.
 
	-  Click Reset Password.
 
	- Once complete, you will be returned to the Security Methods page.
