I am Unable to Log into MyMadison

If you have recently applied to James Madison, there is a standard delay between your Application being accepted in our system and your account being created. If you are receiving an error message, please:

  1. Please allow 3-5 business days so that the new account process can be run
    • Note: if your Application was paid via E-Check, this could extend time by an additional 5 days
  2. Once created, you should receive an email explaining how to Activate your JMU eID and set up your Okta Account
  3. Follow the instruction provided in the email, or attempt to log in to Mymadison.jmu.edu after activating

If you continue to receive the message that your account does not exist, contact the IT Help Desk at 540-568-3555.
