How to perform a guest or public class search in MyMadison

Overview

This article guides you through searching for classes on the public JMU website and in MyMadison as an enrolled student.

Environment

jmu.edu, MyMadison 

Troubleshooting/Resolution
Guest or Public Access to the Class Search Feature:
  1. Open a web browser to the main JMU web page www.jmu.edu
  2. Scroll to the bottom and click on A-Z index
  3. In the index, click on C then click on Class Search
Students Access to the Class Search Feature:
  1. Open a web browser to the main JMU page http://www.jmu.edu and In the Search JMU box, type the words Class Search
  2. or, open a web browser to MyMadison http://mymadison.jmu.edu and perform a class search
  3. Additional information about the Class Search can be found at https://www.jmu.edu/online/class-search.shtml
