Qualtrics - changing ownership of survey(s)

Change survey owner

  1. Log in to Qualtrics and from drop down choose Admin.
  2. From top tabs choose Users.
  3. Enter eID in the Username box and click the Search button.
  4. In the output, click on the Username link.
  5. To change the owner of one or two surveys, Click “View Account Use Info” – this shows the surveys in the account
    1. Click on Change Owner and the enter First and Last Name of the new owner to find their eID and then click Transfer button.
    2. If there are more than one instance of the specific user, contact Tina Grace. This means the user has two accounts (one within JMU and one outside) that need to be resolved. I can help with this until others are able to manage it.

 
NOTE: To change the owner of all surveys in the account, click on “Transfer Surveys” under the Actions.

  • Select choose person and enter the eID to find and select new owner.
    • (If there are more than one instance of the specific user, contact Tina Grace. This means the user has two accounts (one within JMU and one outside) that need to be resolved. I can help with this until others are able to manage it.)
  • Click the box to choose all of the surveys.
  • Choose Transfer Surveys.
