Local and Home Address Issues with MyMadison Check-In

MyMadison Check-In:
  1. Press Add a new address, on the Addresses screen and enter an address (you can use the same address as your Home address). 
  2. Press OK
  3. Click to check the box for Local 
  4. Press Save
  5. If there was an issue when you click Continue to go to the next step, repeat the steps above to edit/add the address again and ensure you are clicking Save when done.
  6. If an issue still remains, log the ticket in the IT Service Portal (its.jmu.edu) under Request Help>Administrative & Business>MyMadison>Report an Issue
    Notes
    • Students must provide both a Home and Local address, even if they are the same 
    • If commuting from outside of the Harrisonburg area, students need to add their home/commuter address, even if it’s outside of the Harrisonburg area (i.e. Charlottesville, etc).
