Sharing/Attaching files in OneDrive through Outlook on the Web

When attaching a file from OneDrive in Outlook on the web:

  1. The default option is to share the file. This will be shown by the tag Recipients can edit on the attachment icon.
  2. If this is not desired, the attachment can be attached normally by clicking the drop-down arrow on the attachment icon and clicking Attach as a copy
  3. If the attachment is embedded in the email body, right-click the attachment and select Attach as a copy

Note: This does not happen when selecting a file from your local synced OneDrive folder using the normal file picker Browse this computer, only when using the embedded OneDrive file picker (Browse cloud location), or the Suggested Attachments. It will also happen when selecting Upload and share.
