How to Change Default Reply Settings in Outlook Web

This article describes how to change the default reply setting from 'Reply to All' to 'Reply' to sender only.

Troubleshooting/Resolution

To change the default setting 'Reply All' to 'Reply' (to only reply to the sender) follow these steps:

  1. Login to your email account at outlook.office.com
  2. Select Settings (Gear icon) in the top right.
  3. Select View all Outlook Settings.
  4. Select Mail on the list of options on the left side of the screen Compose and reply.
  5. Change the default response by selecting Reply.
